The Aroma of Perfume
Perfumes are the mixture of the fragrant oils and aroma compounds which give out a pleasant smell and it is this scented liquid which imparts a pleasant body odor when used by humans. Tracing back the roots we see that the word “Perfume” comes from Latin and one of the oldest of perfumes came from the burning of incense sticks. This was first in use by the Egyptians followed by the Chinese, Hindus and Greeks.
Modern world has a varied variety of perfumes available as oil-based and alcohol based from which people can choose depending on the skin type. Just as there are different types of people we have different types of perfumes the reason being that each perfume has a unique fragrance.
